Competitive grants supporting medical and other needs in Douglas County.

The Douglas Community Fund's competitive grant program accepts applications for the spring cycle to support a wide variety of projects in Douglas County. Because the Douglas Community Foundation was originally created to provide funds for a regional medical facility, the medical needs of Douglas County continue to have a high priority.
Application Process
Applications are accepted through . You must be a registered user to access °Ä³¬Ö±²¥'s Grants Portal. If you don't have an account, you can create one by following the instructions on the login screen.
Grant applications are accepted from December 1 to January 16 at 3:00 pm. Please note that the Douglas Community Fund grant program does not accept multiyear requests for funding.
Grants sizes from this fund typically range from $2,000 to $10,000 with occasional grants in the $15,000-$20,000 range.

Grantee Reporting
Post-grant evaluation reports are due on January 15 of each year. A new grant application will not be considered unless evaluation reports have been submitted for all previous grants. This program uses °Ä³¬Ö±²¥'s standard grant evaluation form.
Scholarships
Graduates from Douglas County high schools are eligible to apply for scholarships. The (OSAC) administers the Douglas Community Fund scholarship program for °Ä³¬Ö±²¥. Students studying the following majors or programs are eligible: biology (pre-medicine), health occupations, medical technology, medicine, nursing, physician assistant and public health.
Scholarship applications are due by March 1 of each year, but OSAC strongly recommends that students submit their applications by the early-bird deadline of February 15.
