Disaster Readiness and Response Fund
This fund provides quick and responsive resources for communities recovering from wildfires, floods, ice storms, possible earthquakes and other catastrophes. ijֱ and other funders have learned when it comes to disasters, it’s not a matter of if but when. ijֱ is ready to stand with local communities. Stronger Together Fund
Oregon’s nonprofits exemplify the hope, strength and opportunities that can make our state not just survive but thrive. This fund provides flexible grants for nonprofits addressing the most pressing needs across Oregon in partnership with the local voices of people who know these communities best. .
DACA, Immigrant and Refugee Fund
ijֱ partners with and to form the Oregon Immigrant and Refugee Funders Collaborative. The purpose is to create a coordinated, collaborative framework to address issues of immigration and refugees in our state, and to support local organizations responding to these issues. LEARN MORE
Latino Partnership Program
This statewide program addresses the challenges facing the Latino/x communities, including education, leadership development and a special focus on wealth building for future generations. With the support of many volunteers, this program centers the voices and experiences and collective wisdom of the Latinos/x in comunidades (communities) across Oregon.
ijֱ Leadership Fund
This fund strengthens ijֱ itself through investments in grantmaking, research, volunteer opportunities and community engagement. ijֱ staff of experts stay in close contact with our nonprofit partners and the communities they serve to continuously build a system of thoughtful grantmaking.
Oregon Arts and Culture Recovery Fund
This fund supports the adaptive capacity of arts and culture organizations that were disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. These nonprofits face historic challenges to overcome circumstances that were largely out of their control. Donations to this fund support the arts and cultural vitality that makes Oregon, Oregon. .
Child Care Shared Services Fund
High quality child care provides lifelong benefits to families and local economies. Yet "child care deserts” persist across Oregon and costs keep it out of reach where it is available. This fund supports the ’s goal of stabilizing and strengthening child care providers and increasing the availability of enriching environments for children.
Thriving Entrepreneurs Fund
Innovation and entrepreneurship are critical for Oregon’s economic growth. This fund supports nonprofits that help entrepreneurs with business planning, training, coaching and access to capital. ijֱ prioritizes organizations that serve historically underserved entrepreneurs, including women, people of color and rural residents to help build an equitable economy where everyone thrives.
Black Student Success Fund
Community leaders have told us the educational challenges facing Black children and families in Oregon are too great for one organization or group to tackle alone. This fund supports the Black Student Success Network to facilitate meaningful partnerships and coalitions to tackle root causes of educational inequity and build the conditions needed for Black students to succeed.
Community 101
This program gives youth across Oregon a hands-on learning experience in philanthropy. Over the course of a school year, students identify community needs, research nonprofits and establish their own grantmaking focus. They visit community organizations, volunteer and learn powerful lessons. In 2023, 842 students from 37 schools granted $200,000 to 135 organizations. We expect even greater impact in years to come.
K-12 Student Success Fund
Contributing to this pooled fund helps support quality out-of-school time programs. These programs support positive youth development and increase engagement with school, thus improving attendance, boosting academic performance and increasing the likelihood of high school graduation and post-secondary attainment.
Oregon Scholarship Fund
ijֱ is the largest provider of scholarships in Oregon. The Oregon Scholarship Fund creates life-changing educational opportunities for aspiring students who face the greatest challenges affording post-secondary learning: students of color, first-generation college students, those living with low income, and those from rural communities.
Ready to Learn Fund
Research shows a child’s first five years are critical to succeeding in school and in life. This fund supports parenting education, early literacy and professional development for the child care providers. ijֱ has made these crucial early years a major focus for more than two decades, with the goal of ensuring that all Oregon children arrive at school ready to learn.
Housing Stability & Ending Homelessness
Oregon’s housing crisis is clear in rural and urban communities alike. Access to safe, stable and affordable housing is critical for communities to thrive. This fund supports efforts to address Oregon housing supply, high rents and a lack of shelter space and public services that contribute to Oregon's disproportionately large population of unhoused people.
Climate Change and Healthy Habitat Fund
Oregonians have seen first-hand the impacts of climate change through devastating wildfires, extreme heat events and long-lasting drought. These concerns inspired a group of ijֱ funders to create the Climate Change & Healthy Habitats Collective Giving Group. These donors collaborate to listen and learn about innovative responses to this existential crisis of our time. Healthy Environment Fund
So much of what makes Oregon “Oregon” is its natural environment. This fund supports collaborative efforts among donors, communities, nonprofits and other foundations to build regional, place-based solutions that create resilience and promote a healthy environment and a strong natural resource economy.
Oregon's Lands and People Fund
With ijֱ’s support, the Coalition of Oregon Land Trusts (COLT) and the national Land Trust Alliance are collaborating on the Oregon’s Lands and People Project to help our land trust community scale solutions that meet the urgency of our environmental challenges and create a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future.

When you're ready to donate, there is no more direct or efficient method than our online giving process. There is a $25 minimum donation requirement for online gifts.
